What is ADHD?

ADHD or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is a neuro-development disorder that is highly heritable (approximately 90% heritability rate), which means there is a very strong likelihood that multiple individuals in a family have it. Subtypes of ADHD include Inattentive subtype, Hyperactive/Impulsive subtype, and Combined subtype. Symptom presentation for ADHD varies widely between males and females, different levels of intelligence, and for various ages.
